Jocelyn explores tension as both a technical and a conceptual metaphor through various weaving and basketry techniques. Her goal is to understand the structures that shape us and to find freedom from intergenerational ideologies through the making process. The resulting works linger in an ambiguous space where structure and spontaneity coexist. Drawing on a background in spatial experience design and over ten years in the design industry, she brings a strong sensitivity to composition, form, and material to her work. She lives and works in London.
